People seem to either love or hate the Step On system. I love it. The boots seat firmly in the bindings without much wiggle; the boots don't shake free (I'm 6'4" 230, and I haven't had them release on me once); and the ease of use is unparalleled. If there's one weakness, it's that you'll have to swap out all your boards if you want to use the same boots for all your rigs. That's what this purchase was for me- gearing up my longer/carving board with the matching bindings.
