Own many Red Wing Heritage boots, specifically Iron Rangers, Beckman and Classic Moc-toes. For Chelsea's, I prefer the sleek European style. Would have never considered a "chunky" chelsea, however, since I am a fan of Red Wing and St. Bernard offered these at a fair sales price, figured I would try these. I'm a fan. They are more comfortable, out of the box, than the other Heritage Red Wing boots which take a little time to break in. These are my first pair with the amber harness leather. The leather is thick and substantial. Being Goodyear welted, these boots will last a lifetime. Highly recommend for a casual chelsea to wear with jeans or khakis.

Online reviews of this boot tampered my expectations - I figured they'd be utilitarian, almost ugly - and I was ready for that. They're simply...not. They are different than a lot of Chelseas, but they work! Additionally, they're comfortable right out of the box, which I can't say about iron rangers or Moc Toes.

This is a very nice boot with great versatility. The color is lighter than the standalone boots shown on the website. The picture of the person wearing the boots more closely depicts the actual shade. Highly recommend. A+ experience all around…will definitely be a returning customer! Thanks!
