I did a lot of research on this piece, especially since I know I struggle picking up pants that have no stretch for my body type. I'm curvy, I have big hips, thighs, and a big butt. There is no way nicer to say this, it is what is. Traditional snow pants don't fit me since I have to size up to fit my hips and thighs but then my waist is way too loose. If I go up a size then it's too tight and I cannot unzip and I cannot crouch down to pick up my ski's for example. It's a horrible experience.

So, I read about the reviews on a couple of sites, just as you are, and decided to buy them. I want to be upfront that is not an entirely full review because I won't probably go skiing until next year but still I wanted to do a review on the fit. I sized up two sizes my traditional curvy jean size so if I'm 10 in curvy jeans like Everlane or American Eagle ---> I got 14 on these pants. They fit like a glove, it's not tight nor loose just the proper amount. It's high waisted so when I crouch down to pick up things I don't flash anyone and most importantly I'm able to do it. It has this elastic/ribbing thing in the waist that hugs my waist and they don't have that awful gap in the back.

The bottom line is, I look amazing because it hugs up all my curves, I can move freely and most important I'm comfortable with these pants.

We'll see how do they perform on the snow, but so far I would only buy this type of ski pants.
