I needed to replace a beloved down jacket and I think I did more research to find the perfect coat than most people do when buying a car. This coat has so many great features-- pockets galore!-- while also being warm without being overly thick and heavy. Plus it is super cute. I am SO HAPPY with it. It has lived up to every expectation-- so adorable, even nicer in person than I expected, very warm, and it fits like a dream. I have the white color and it is so cool-- the fabric has a unique "digital-looking" texture to it that I really love. Close-up pic attached.
I am 5'5", ~135 pounds, and I normally wear a size 4. I ordered a size 8 in this coat and it fits perfectly. I can wear layers under it but it's not too bulky. I honestly think this coat is as high quality and fashionable as Canada Goose or Moncler, which I was also considering, but way less expensive.

The jacket looks nice. RUNS SMALL - I wear a size 2 but got a size 8 - it fits just enough for one thick sweater underneath.
Not a fan of the outside feel of the fabric. It’s a bit plastic-y.

Wanting to travel with only one jacket …I was looking for a cold weather jacket that could be worn out and about for errands and function as a ski jacket. I ordered up one size for extra mobility in the arms while skiing. Made from high quality materials, well thought out plentiful pocket design, a powder skirt, faux fur hood roomy enough for my helmet, and length that falls at the thigh. This is not my first Obermeyer, but is my new favorite. The jacket was delivered within two days and customer service responded to my email question within minutes. Super warm and not too puffy. I’m thrilled to finally have a jacket that looks as stylish to wear off the slopes and on.

Let me start by saying that this is a beautiful jacket. I purchased it for my 25 year old daughter to wear with black ski pants and she is going to look great on the slopes. The black detailing on the white and the quality of the jacket makes it look much more expensive than it is. I'm pretty particular and in my opinion, this jacket looks just as nice as some of the obscenely priced jackets for nearly 1/10th of the price. My daughter is typically a 6 on top and I sized up to an 8. There isn't enough room under it if she wants to where something heavy, so will are going to exchange it for a 10. It runs very small which seems to be the case for most ski jackets. I read in some reviews that the fur trim looks cheap. I couldn't disagree more. It adds to the beauty of the jacket.
