In 2003, the AB co-founders Mariana Hinestroza and Catalina Álvarez, both from Medellin, Colombia, came together to handcraft swimsuits for their friends and family. At first, they personally fabricated each piece using leftover fabrics from a local clothing factory and their grandmothers' sewing machines. Agua by Agua Bendita is the epitome of sophisticated, timeless leisure garments. Every element is inspired by Latin America's enchanting biodiversity and culture.
